Chapter 1: Switcheroo

Courtney DiLaurentis was the identical twin sister of Alison.  Despite of their friendship, Ali was always jealous of her more popular sister and forced Courtney to impersonate her and tried to kill Ali.  When the doctors were called by girls' parents, Courtney panicked and revealed that Ali was threatening her and forcing to impersonate.  An innocent acting Alison claimed it was not true and decided that her sister had to go, which was allegedly for the safety of everyone. Ali's master plan worked: Courtney was recognized as the paranoid one.   The DiLaurentis family moved to Rosewood and Courtney was placed at the Radley, a mental hospital and stayed there for about three years. When Courtney had to be transferred, she stayed at home until she had to go. Instead of leaving, on the last day before her transfer, Courtney stole Ali’s ring which was the only way that the two could be identified, so her parents thought Ali was Courtney, and they sent Ali away. 

I feel bad for them. They’re identical twins. They supposed to understand each other more than anybody else could. They should feel connected in every ways. But Ali wanted her sister gone. First she tried sending Courtney away, and when Courtney just wanted a normal life and her sister got sent away, Ali tried to kill her. Courtney was sweet and innocent. If Alison wasn't so sinister and jealous, they could actually be friends. If I were to have a twin sister I would love her with all my heart and try not to get into a fight.

 While reading the Chapter one of this book I used Outlines to take notes. It helps me clarify my ideas and structuring and organizing large volumes of information. Outlines helps me demonstrate the thinking process behind a passage or an essay.
